Multichain as currency or data exchange?

Hello, I've been researching rchain, multi chain and redbelly (all "concurrent") blockchain systems but am unsure of the differences. Is multi chain intending to be a cryptocurrency or other? Do you have a coin or an ICO planned to launch if so?

No, MultiChain is not a single blockchain and is not planning an ICO. MultiChain is a piece of software to allow you to create your own blockchains, whether public, private, or somewhere in the middle. Other participants in a chain can also use MultiChain to connect and participate.
