MultiChain 1.0.2 Daemon (latest protocol 10009)

Retrieving blockchain parameters from the seed node 172.31.20.36:9539 ...

Error: Couldn't connect to the seed node 172.31.20.36 on port 9539 - please check multichaind is running at that address and that your firewall settings allow incoming connections.

I have opened up the firewall to accept all connections from everywhere (0.0.0.0/0)

Is it possible the first node has more than one IP address, perhaps some are visible from internal networks only, and some from external networks. Take a look at the output when the first node starts up to see if there are alternative IP addresses suggested.
