Wallet issue

I am using the BitcoinWallet (and BitcoinCore) patched version I founded here https://github.com/MultiChain. I successfully followed the instructions and I have the wallet working. The issue is that I can't manage to receive chain's native currency into the wallet address. As far as I understand, Multichain's native assests are not supported by these wallets, that is the reason why I am trying with the chain's native currency.

I have sent coins from the "master" node using, for example, the command below, where the address there is the wallet's address.

multichain-cli bitcoin sendtoaddress 14eDvRpkCZARt7gtqXexpTdaHj5gbCh5Aw 130

but the wallet balance allays remains in 0. Did I misunderstood something? What I am trying does make sense? Should it works?

Launch Bitcoin Wallet and select the menu option View->Receive Addresses.  Click the 'New' button to create a new receiving address.

Send native currency to this address and you should see transactions appear and the balance update.  Not sure why the default address doesn't seem to work.

Hope this helps.
