Stream Names character limitation

hi,

is there a length of character limitation for the streamnames? I could see that I am not able to give names longer than 32 characters. is there a parameter which controls this limit? please advise.

i'm using 1.0 alpha 24 , protocolversion 10006

Yes, both asset and stream names are limited to 32 characters.
