configure: error: "Big Endian not supported"

I need to run Multichain on Raspberry Pi for which I was trying to build binaries from source (1.0.x-release). I was building the source on ARM server (Linux arm 4.14.11-1-64kb #1 SMP Thu Jan 4 11:32:07 UTC 2018 (c36893f) aarch64 aarch64 aarch64 GNU/Linux). The dependencies were installed but got Big Endian not supported error thrown.

shrey@arm:~/multichain> ./configure

Is there any way to build the source for ARM 64 bit binary executables from a different architecture machine (like x86-64)

I'm afraid we can't support you on this directly since for now MultiChain is only designed for 64-bit small-endian Intel systems. But you can search this Q&A for 'Raspberry' and you'll find a fair amount of discussion.
