What happens behind the scene in streams and blockchain mining ?

When we use stream in blockchain is there any form of mining involved in the process which occurs behind the scene? and if i am manually command it to do round robin mining in a scenario of where all I am using streams in blockchain what happens then?

A stream item is just metadata that is embedded in a regular transaction (which in many cases will be doing nothing more than sending 0 units from one address back to itself). So it is mined/confirmed/validated in the exact same way as any other transaction on the chain.
