All the steps are common for windows and linux except the download and extract
1. Download from here and extract..
https://www.multichain.com/download/multichain-windows-1.0-release.zip
2. Enter the multichain program directory in the PATH
3. Follow the remaining steps to create and access the chain from this link
https://www.multichain.com/getting-started/
The default multichain directory in windows would be C:\Users\{UserName}\AppData\Roaming\MultiChain\{chain name}
