Norton Antivirus deleting multichain executables due to hueristics finding mining virus

Windows Platform, Norton AntiVirus.

The multichain website and executables are all marked as a threat by Norton Antivirus.

it automatically removes the exe's. The website is marked as dangerous and contains threats

PUA.Bitcoinminer in the downloads

Do you have advice or background information on this to shed further light on it?

Perhaps whitelisting the executables before this becomes epidemic?

Yes, this is Norton detecting the similarities between MultiChain and Bitcoin Core, the reference client for the bitcoin network which can also be used to perform secret mining on people's computers. As mentioned in the Windows README, you may need to add an exception for MultiChain in your anti-virus software.
