Initial currency transfer

Do you discuss somewhere what is involved with _initially_ transferring currency using sendtoaddress?

Do you have to do mining, or is there a straightforward way, after initializing a blockchain with multichain, to transfer currency to a list of designated accounts/wallets?

You don't have to do mining to send assets that are just created - you can send them as soon as the genesis transaction has been confirmed in a block.
