How do i setup a POW chain (What settings?)

as the title how can i setup a POW chain away from the default settings given my the default config

First you should set all the blockchain parameters relating to the native blockchain currency, to set the reward schedule according to your wishes. Other settings:

anyone-can-mine=true (to remove permissioning on mining)

target-adjust-freq=... (number of seconds between difficulty recalculations)
