For my bachelor thesis I am doing research on blockchain for the applications of an asset manager. One of our research questions is: "What are criteria for assessing blockchain implementations"? One of the deliverables of my thesis is a list of features/criteria which I can use to find "the best" BlockChain platform(s).
Examples of criteria are: is there any governance, what is the roadmap of the company, ease of setup/installation of nodes, scripting language for API/contracts, what is the consensus mechanism.
The questions can range from criteria regarding the organization and security to very technical DLT aspects. I have created a list of my own as well, but I am wondering what criteria you guys can come up with and think are important.
