Directory or Naming Service or DNS

Question

Hi, Is there any plan of creating a Naming service or a Directory where public keys are mapped to easy to read and real-world names? The names should searchable. Since this is a private chain such a service could be useful. Not sure if the Blockchain data structure is suitable for such a purpose. Let us know your thoughts - can be hacked into the current MC, any other ideas?

It's a good idea for a future feature. In the meantime you might want to try using the Blockstore stuff, which creates a naming system on top of bitcoin. Since MultiChain is backwards compatible with Bitcoin Core, it might work with MultiChain with minimal changes. You can find it here:
