SPV node

Hi Multichain Team,

Is it possible to create a SPV node using multichain style addressing, I mean without tweaking it to use bitcoin compatible addresssing?

Or if I am using aplha 24 version of multichain, how do I create a SPV node?

MultiChain itself cannot be used as an SPV node. However you can use a bitcoin-compatible SPV wallet with a MultiChain network, so long as you make some adjustments. See this link to get started:

But don't change the protocol-version as suggested – instead, make sure the SPV code does not choke on the protocol version that is sent over the wire by MultiChain.

The addressing itself is easily solved, since a MultiChain chain can be configured to use bitcoin-compatible addresses via its parameters.

How can I use a SPV wallet in case of permissioned chain? I mean what all needs to be done on the wallet side to make it compatible with multichain?
Any update on this?
