What's the difference between Multichain and products like BigchainDB?

I read the following article https://www.multichain.com/blog/2016/12/spot-half-baked-blockchain/ where Gideon explain that to be a real blockchain it has to comply with six attributes. After, I read the article I believe that Bigchain DB has all those 6 attributes unless I am missing something. Can you please provide what you think separates multichain from bigchain DB? besides the fact that multichain is built over bitcoin core and bigchain db is like adding blockchain properties to big data.

We don't follow the BigChainDB product closely, but we know that early versions used a shared data layer between all nodes, meaning that one malicious node was able to corrupt the state of all nodes. I believe they may now be working on a new version which changes this, but you'd need to ask them for more details.
