NC Introduces Live Streaming Technology at Masan Baseball Stadium...Strengthening the team development system
NC Dinos has introduced 4DReplay live streaming technology at Masan Baseball Stadium, where C team (NC Futures Team) players play, to strengthen the team's training system.
Since 2022, NC has installed 26 4DReplay cameras (18 on the ground and 8 on the bullpen) at Masan Baseball Stadium, and has been using them to foster the team by filming games and training videos from various angles. In time for the opening of the Futures League in the 2023 season, the 4DReplay system was updated to expand its use.
With this update, NC will be able to check the Futures League home games and training at Masan Baseball Stadium in real time from five angles using PCs and mobile devices. The video taken is edited for parts such as pitching, hitting, defense, and base running, and uploaded to D-Locker, NC's team information system, so that anyone in the team can access and check it with their personal devices (cell phone, tablet, PC). NC plans to use 4DReplay analysis videos to check and apply movement changes according to player conditions to training, as well as to actively use them to foster the team through comparative analysis of players' past and present appearance and comparative analysis with other players.
Lim Sun-nam, head of NC, said, "With the introduction of 4DRepaly live streaming technology at Masan Baseball Stadium, it is possible to directly check the home games and usual training of the C team without broadcasting anytime, anywhere." In addition, live streaming videos are edited and processed for various purposes and provided to the team, creating an environment that can be used for fostering. NC said, "We will continue to pursue new attempts in the operation of the team so that we can establish ourselves as a strong team in the league."
Shin Young-woo said, "It is helpful to check my videos in training and games from various angles. I think it's also effective to be able to compare my past and present videos. "Also, I think the N team coaching staff is watching all of our plays, so I think all the players are definitely more motivated," he said.
Since 2013, when NC participated in the regular league (first division), it has developed and used its own team information system, D-Locker. In May this year, under an agreement with SSTC, a sports science big data platform company, it has been incorporating scientific and systematic methods in the operation and development of the team, including the use of biomechanics data.
