Developing asset connect to a currency

Hi , I am looking at using Multichain to develop a asset to connect to a currency, can it be connected to a current currency so the assets can be purchased with that currency, attachet to the currency address and dividends sent to them, so when the dividends are sent it is sent to the address attached per asset held by that address and people can also sell the asset to other people

and also were to find the details on connecting to a currency and implementing this

If you're looking to connect to a currency that does not live within the blockchain, you would have to handle all this at the application layer – a blockchain cannot 'reach out' and connect to things outside of itself.
