Which nodes are maintaining a private blockchain?

I have a question related to private blockchains.

I have created a private blockchain and I have connected three nodes to that blockchain. So, which nodes read the blockchain?  I am thinking about this two options:

- Only my nodes, so I am the one who is maintaining it.

- There is a bigger structure of nodes where all the private blockchains go and a lot of nodes different from the ones I have created are maintaining all the blockchains of Multichain.

It is only your nodes - the entire purpose of MultiChain is to let you create private blockchains in this way.
