CMD Prompt to connect to a blockchain

I am not able to type anything in CMD Prompt to connect to the first chain. I also created two servers on the same computer using two folders is that okay. How can I type on CMD prompt to connect to chain1.

Are you using Windows? If so there is no interactive command-line prompt and instead you need to enter each command as a separate Windows command, e.g.:

multichain-cli chain1 getinfo
