We are trying to connect 2 nodes (both are windows 10 systems), The node saying it is ready in first system (terminal) but it is not connecting when we give the command(multichaind newchain@172.30.112.1:7757) in the second system. we are getting error message.

MultiChain 2.0 beta 1 Daemon (latest protocol 20006)

Retrieving blockchain parameters from the seed node 172.30.112.1:7757 ...
Error: Couldn't connect to the seed node 172.30.112.1 on port 7757 - please check multichaind is running at that address and that your firewall settings allow incoming connections.

we have updated the inbound and outbound ports as well in the windows firewall setting.

Is it possible to connect 2 window systems as 2 nodes in the current version of multichain?

Looking forward for early response.

Lakshmi.

Yes, that's definitely possible. You should probably again check for the firewall settings in both systems.

We did modify the host file in windows system 32 by adding Ip address and the port still is giving the same error. added the ip and port details in the below system path.
C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts

Still facing the issue.pls help.
