Build multichain for Raspberry pi in ubuntu mate 64

I am trying to build multichain 2.0.1 on Raspberry pi 3 b+ using ubuntu mate :

I followed the instructions and I used :

autogen.sh

./configure --with-incompatible-bdb

make

I also place v8build libraries in the main working directory, but during make I get this error:

/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible ../v8build/v8/out.gn/x64.release/obj/third_party/icu/libicui18n.a when searching for -licui18n
/usr/bin/ld: skipping incompatible ../v8build/v8/out.gn/x64.release/obj/libv8_data.a when searching for -lv8_data
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lv8_data
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
Makefile:2253: recipe for target 'multichaind' failed
make[1]: *** [multichaind] Error 1

Please can someone help me.

Hi,

I'm trying to compile multichain on a Raspberry Pi 3 with Raspbian Stretch Lite (Linux raspberrypi 4.14.79-v7+ #1159 SMP Sun Nov 4 17:50:20 GMT 2018 armv7l GNU/Linux)

Unfortunately, it stucks at the ./configure stage when it searches for openssl/ec.h . Openssl is installed (1.1.0j)

I'm trying to build multichain for Raspberry PI. I'm looking for any documentation or build instructions on the same. If anyone tried this? please suggest. I have built multichain on ubuntu 12.04 machine and now trying to cross compile for Raspberry Pi.

I saw earlier posts over a year old saying you can't install on a Rpi, but that you were thinking about it.

Is the problem the 32bit vs 64bit (Suse have released a 64bit version for Rpi 3 so if I need to I could try that) or the ARM vs x86 architecture?

Anyway, I tried to compile the multichain on a rpi3 (i.e. 32bit raspbian). It seemed to work (compiled with a few warnings) and the daemon started and connected to the chain. I was able to give its wallet permissions.

Now it does't seem to want to work. I get a 'Bus Error'.

Any ideas.

Is there any way or workaround to run MultiChain on Raspbian 32bits?

I know that MultiChain currently is x64 only, but maybe theres something I can do.

raspberry pi 3 already comes up with linux. then why we can not use it to install multichain

raspberry pi 3 already comes up with linux. and it is requirement of multichain that you should have linux ..then why we cannot install multichin on raspberry pi 3?
