Hello,

I'm trying to build public bitcoin-like Blockchain network using MultiChain.

In some point of my project I want to use smart-contracts. Node A asks from Node B to do some work for him, if the work done by Node B, Node A will pay to Node B.

I saw some suggestions to use assets and streams but I also saw that there is no streams in public chain.

My question is if there is any way to implement that kind of thing using MultiChain or should I look for something else?

I'm trying to make a project that depends partly on a public blockchain.
I need my blockchain to be public, PoW based, have a medium block size and a currency.

Reading the white paper it seemed that while this is all currently supported, it's not the way MultiChain is meant to be used.

I have no previous experience developing blockchain applications, I chose MultiChain for its ease of use and setting up, easy configuration, tutorials, and overall developer friendliness.

So my question is: Should I keep using MultiChain, or do you recommend forking some other project? If so, which one would you recommend?

Can nodes on the same blockchain communicate behind firewalls or nats?

If I have one multichain node at my house behind my home router with an IP address of 192.168.x.x and I have another multichain node on the same blockchain at a friend's house behind his home router, will they be able to communicate with each other without having public static IP addresses?

Hi,

I'm planning to send a short encrypted message using txn metadata in a way that only the intended recipient is able to decrypt it (message is encrypted using the recipient's public key). My questions related to this are:

Can I use the public key of the recipient's wallet for enryption? If yes, how? As far as I know it is not recommended to use one private/public key pair for multiple purposes (such as encryption AND signature) but please share your views on this.
If I plan to use a separate key pair for enryption, can I store securely the additional private key somehow in the wallet?
