Hello,

I am facing a problem using your Multichain. I want to list all the transactions on a specific address. I will be using a paginator, but i need to know the TOTAL of transactions. I saw that there is a command : listAddressTransactions or something, but I need the total number, just that. How can I get that number?

Hi multichain team,

Before today I have create multiple address in my wallet using getnewaddress and make transactions successfully. I can see all those addresses and their transaction in wallet.But Today when I create new address that address created successfully but not showing in wallet addresses list I transfer some asset quantity to that address transfer successful but still i can not see that address in my wallet and when I listaddresstransactions nothing shows.getmultibalances shows 0 for that address. What was the issue. please guid me as soon as possible.

By using "MultiChain API", created a blockchain over 2 nodes in AWS.

Created 3 "Assets" using following commands on 1st node :
issue 1VN1TPRteLNSAz8xzzUuUdEzsE9qGFhaG1KBf asset1 1000 0.01
issue 1VN1TPRteLNSAz8xzzUuUdEzsE9qGFhaG1KBf asset2 1000 0.01
issue 1VN1TPRteLNSAz8xzzUuUdEzsE9qGFhaG1KBf asset3 1000 0.01

In order to confirm this transaction, executed following command:
listwallettransactions

My question is, why "Attribute: confirmation", iis increasing "incrementally(after every few seconds)" AND "variably (i.e. 33,22 & 11)" ?

Is it some kind of "Consensus Building" algorithm in action, in this regard ?

Hi Team,

Can you please explain how listwallettransactions internally work for a particular address? When we say that a node indexes the transactions for the node's wallet address, what does that mean?

Last transaction with Asset in MutliSig Address

Hi,

One unit of an Asset is on a MultiSig Address. The unit is taken and send again to the same MultiSig Address. And again and again.

I can do it, manually, in using createrawtransaction and keeping the transaction id from the previous transaction.

But, how can I do to find the last transaction if I don't keep it ?

Even in importing MultiSig Address, I can't list transaction with listwallettransaction. And the result of listtransactions is the complete list of transactions without any filter on address or on asset.

Then how can I find transactions linked to an Asset for a multisig address ?

Unknown transaction in wallet after setup

Hi,

I noticed a single transaction in all my node wallet soon after setup. I had not even created assets. I only did operations (getbestblockhash, getinfo) to be sure the rpc connection was fine.

Please can you explain this?

Hi,

Is there an api available which can give all transactions from all nodes but fetching it from one node only instead of going to all the nodes?

I know one way of doing this is reading txids from blocks and using getRawTransaction api to fetch the details then. But is there a list api available?

listtransactions api takes an account? What is this account? Can it give transactions from all nodes?

How to view other Node's transactions details?

I have 3 nodes in my blockchain - Node1, Node2, Node3.

I'm having a PHP based JSON-RPC API hosted on Node2. Using the API I'm able to view the details of all the transactions involving Node2's addresses. Whereas I can't view the transactions that happened between Node1 and Node3. How do I overcome this?

Multichain explorer is also hosted on Node2 but it is able to retrieve the details successfully. What is it that the Multichain explorer has and my API doesn't?

I've followed instructions in http://www.multichain.com/getting-started/ and have successfully transferred assets from Node 1 to Node 2. I can see transaction history using listwallettransactions 1.

But, when I add a Node 3 to my system I do not see these transactions. I had expected that all nodes would have a copy of all transaction history - and therefore when I run listwallettransactions on Node 3 it should show me the assets movements on Nodes 1&2.

Am I missing something ?

Hi, In the current API one can only get all transactions ever made in the blockchain. Are there any plans of providing basic filters?

E.g. It could be something as simple as 'get all transactions after a particular date-time'

This could make front-end applications faster and more responsive.

When I send assets from one address to another using sendassettoaddress, listtransactions always shows the category as "receive" - no matter if I call the list service for the sender or the receiver. Shouldn't it be "send" or "receive", depending on which server I call listtransactions?

The amount field is '0'. The 'to' and 'otheraccount' fields are missing (based on bitcoin documentation)?

I am trying to get a list of all transactions done on a blockchain say 'chain1'? I tried the command listtransactions. But it didn't work. How can I go about this?

When I ran the command 'listtransactions' I can see the txns of a node. But the qty is not visible. Is there a way to see this attribute as well? I am also unable to see the counterparty(address) in the transactions.
